KJV Verses for Peace

Read John 14:27, Philippians 4:6-7, and Romans 15:13 in the KJV, with reflections on the peace Jesus gives and bringing your concerns to God.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 14:27 KJV

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7 KJV

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:13 KJV

Biblical peace is not limited to days when everything goes according to plan. Jesus spoke peace to His disciples as difficult events drew near. His words direct us toward His care rather than toward control over every circumstance.

John 14:27 distinguishes His peace from what the world gives. Philippians 4 connects prayer with God's keeping care over hearts and minds. Romans 15:13 places peace alongside joy and hope in a prayer for believers.

Let these passages make space for an honest conversation with God. You can ask for peace while a problem is still unresolved. Consider how receiving His care might shape a patient answer, a moment of rest, or a willingness to listen today.
